Booking conditions
Who you are booking with
Your booking is with Golf Travel Group Limited (trading as Golf Travel Centre), a company registered in England and Wales, company number 09924450, registered office Old Sorting House, 46 Essex Road, London, N1 8LN. We are an ABTA member, membership number Y6372.
What the price includes
The Hoyzie Golf Invitational 2026 runs from Tuesday 29 to Wednesday 30 September 2026 at Macdonald Portal Hotel, Golf & Spa, Cobblers Cross Lane, Tarporley, Cheshire CW6 0DJ. Not included: buggies, travel to and from the venue, travel insurance, and anything you buy at the hotel or club that isn't listed above.
| Room type | Price per person | Deposit per person | Balance per person |

| Twin-sharing | £199 | £50 | £149 |
| Single room | £239 | £50 | £189 |
Deposits and payment
A deposit of £50 per player is payable when you book, and your places are only held once it has been received. The balance is payable nearer the event: we will email the lead booker with the amount, a date to pay by, and a link to pay. If the balance is not paid by the date we give you, we may treat the booking as cancelled and apply the cancellation charges below.
This is a special event, so the balance date is set for the event itself rather than by the eight-week rule in our general terms — the date we email you is the one that applies.
Deposits are non-refundable, but they are transferable. If you cannot make it, your place can be passed to another player — see below.
Transferring a place to someone else
If a player drops out, you may transfer their place to someone else. Tell us at least seven days before the event so we can pass the name to the hotel and the club. You will need to pay any additional costs that arise from the change, and you and the person taking the place are jointly responsible for any outstanding balance. Sorting out the money between you and the person taking the place is up to you.
If you cancel
Cancellations must be told to us by the lead booker, in writing, to hoyzie@golftravel.group. Deposits are not refunded. If you cancel after the balance has fallen due, a cancellation charge of up to the full price of the booking may apply, depending on what the hotel and club charge us at that point. We will always try to resell or transfer the place first.
If we cancel or change the event
If we cancel the event, you will be offered a full refund of everything you have paid us, including the deposit. If we have to make a significant change to what you have booked — for example a change of venue or of dates — you may accept the change, take an alternative if we can offer one, or cancel and receive a full refund. Minor changes, such as tee times, the running order, or the exact rooms allocated, can happen and are not treated as significant changes.
Twin-sharing
Twin-sharing places are sold on the basis of two players to a room. If you book an odd number of twin-sharing players, we will pair the remaining player with someone else in the field where we can. If that is not possible, we will offer them a single room and the single room price will apply — we will always check with you first.
On the day
Players must follow the dress code and rules of Macdonald Portal Hotel, Golf & Spa. The hotel and the club may refuse service or entry in line with their own policies, and we cannot refund a place lost that way. Anything you buy directly from the hotel or club is a matter between you and them.
Your financial protection
Golf Travel Group Limited is a member of ABTA, membership number Y6372. This booking does not include flights, so ATOL protection does not apply to it.
Insurance
Travel insurance is not included and is not compulsory, but we recommend it — particularly because deposits are not refundable if you have to pull out.
Complaints
If something is wrong, tell us as soon as possible — during the event if you can, so we have a chance to put it right. Otherwise email hoyzie@golftravel.group. As an ABTA member we are also bound by ABTA's Code of Conduct and its dispute resolution scheme.

Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we are using it. Email hoyzie@golftravel.group and we will deal with it. Counting visits
We use Vercel Web Analytics to see how many people visit this site, which pages they look at, roughly which country they are in, and what kind of device they use. We use it to understand how the event page is doing — nothing more. It does not use cookies and it does not follow you to other websites. To avoid counting the same visit twice it creates a temporary identifier from your IP address and browser details; that identifier is not stored in a form that identifies you and it resets each day.
